PENEDÉS REGION Penedes Region is located in Catalonia, in the east coast of Spain. Stretches from the Shining Mediterranean cost to the cool heights of the precoastal Catalonian Mountains Range. It covers an area of slightly more than one thousand square km. And has a population of some 165.000 inhabitants. Most of it concentrated in the main towns - Vilafranca del Penedes, Sitges and Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. Penedes Region is about half an hour from Catalonia capital city which is Barcelona.
